What makes Janneau's PVC windows and doors different?

• Colored co-extruded PVC. This process creates a colored outer shell - guaranteed for 10 years - while maintaining thermal performance. Choose from 7 standard colors plus 16 optional colors. .
• Our shock-modified PVC becomes brittle at -40 degree F. It holds up in cold weather better than conventional PVC that becomes brittle at 23 degree F.
• Thick wall extrusions. Corners are welded by thermal fusion, creating an extremely strong, airtight joint. The 3 internal chambers are specially engineered for exceptional strength and thermal insulating performance. Competitors assemble corners mechanically and use only 2 internal chambers.
• Structural strength. Janneau passed all tests for the NFRC class 50 rating: forced entry, water infiltration, air infiltration and resistance to 173 mph winds.
• Extremely low air infiltration rate. 4 times better than the requirements of NFRC standards.
• Exceptional sound reduction. Janneau's windows reduce sound by 30 decibels with standard glass. With specially designed sound attenuation glass, we can achieve an STC rating of 41 decibels.
• Unique ventilation system. Our system allows the evaporation of humidity and counters the condensation problem found in many conventional IG units.
